Miss World 2016
This 66th edition of Miss World will be held on December 18th at the 3.000 seat Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. 117 young women from all over the world will be competing for the prestigious Grand Slam title. This is the second time the United States will have the honor of hosting the pageant. The last time the USA won the coveted title was Alexandria Mills in 2010.
More than half the world will be participating in this year’s pageant that’s all about intelligence, style, talent and beauty.All of the delegates will participate in several fast track events including: talent, multimedia challenge, sports, Top Model and the all important Beauty with a Purpose. The winner’s of each fast track challenge will automatically be advanced into the Top 20.
The Miss World Finale will be the first major television production to take place at the beautiful new entertainment venue at MGM National Harbor. Tickets for the event range from 99.00 – $909.00 and are available via Ticketmaster or through the MGM box office. The Miss World 2016 Contest will be televised live across the world on December 18th at 3:30 pm EST. If you are unable to attend the event you can watch it via E! Television Network.
