Miss New Jersey United States Casting Call at Diane & Company
Freehold, New Jersey – December 10, 2016 – – The New Jersey United States Pageant had its very first casting call yesterday at New Jersey’s premiere prom and pageant store Diane & Company located in the Freehold, New Jersey. The inaugural pageant is set for April 7-9 2017 in Manhattan and the organizers are now accepting contestant applications.
Tina Chisolm, newly appointed state director, is supervising plans for the elaborate and exciting program. The winners will now have the opportunity to represent the Garden State at the 31st Annual United States National Pageants next summer. Chisolm, who resides in Daytona Beach, Florida and also oversees both the Florida and New York franchises is looking forward to meeting and working with the Garden State pageant community. The last time a United States preliminary was held in New Jersey was 2014. The event featured celebrity fashion designer Juan Carlos Pinera, International pageant coach Chris Franz, YouTube sensation & founder of Lady Code Lisa Opie, and Miss New York United States royalty.
Seven separate winners will be crowned in different age divisions; Little Miss New Jersey (8-9), Pre-Teen New Jersey (10-12), Jr. Teen New Jersey (13-15), Teen New Jersey (16-19), Miss New Jersey (20-29), Ms. New Jersey (20-29) and Ms. Woman New Jersey (30 and up). To be considered, contestants at all levels must be a New Jersey Resident and adhere to additional guidelines. Elements of the competition include a personal interview, swimsuit and fitness, evening wear, and onstage question.
